Frank passed away at Carson Tahoe Health Center due to heart failure and pneumonia at the age of 91.


Frank was born in Savannah, GA. He spent the first ten years of his life in Jacksonville, FL. His family then moved to Southern California. He graduated from Manual Arts High School where he was a member of the ROTC.


As soon as he could, he joined the US army Air Corps, eventually being stationed in Japan as part of the Occupation Force. Frank stayed in the Service through the Korean Conflict and was then Honorably Discharged.


In 1948, while attending St. John’s Episcopal Canterbury Club he met the love of his life, Audrey, whom he married in 1956. They had 61+ years of a wonderful life together.


He moved to New York City in 1948 where he worked for ADT. In 1954 he moved back to California to work for Hughes Aircraft Company as a Design Engineer retiring from the Canoga Park Facility in 1988.


While living in Simi Valley, California, he was Treasurer for 18 years of Boy Scout Troop 606. He was a lifetime member of the NRA as well as a member of the US Navy League.


In 1990 he and his wife retired to Carson City, Nevada, where he was Treasurer for 18 years of the Carson Sertoma Club.


Over the years, he and his wife liked to travel. They visited New Zealand, England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales and enjoyed many cruises. For several years they spent their wedding Anniversaries in Kauai, Hawaii.


He leaves behind his wife, Audrey; daughter Laura; son-in-law Eugene Ortiz; grandchildren, Benjamin and Samantha Ortiz; Canadian nephews, Ross, Ron and Rick Allen and their families.


No services will be held per his wishes


The Neptune Society is in charge of all arrangements.
