Couple arrest on suspicion of maintaining drug house says Carson City Sheriff’s Office

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

FRIDAY

At 10:39 a.m., a 37-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of violation of a protection order after deputies responded to reports of a violation near Tiger Drive. Bail was set at $3,000.

At 11:09 a.m., Marcel Johnson, 38, a transient, was arrested on suspicion of felony sex offender failure to register after deputies conducted a pedestrian stop near Curry and Telegraph Street. Bail was set at $5,000.

At 5:50 p.m., James Martin, 54, and Cindy Chambers, both of Carson City were arrested on suspicion of felony maintaining a drug house, felony possession of a controlled substance, felony providing drugs to a minor, felony child endangerment and possession of drug paraphernalia after deputies responded to reports of drug activity at the Carson Street Frontier Motel. Bail was set at $36,00 each.

SATURDAY

At 1:03 a.m., Anthony Morales, 39, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony preventing a victim from calling 911, false imprisonment and domestic battery near Carson and Bath Streets. Bail was set at $10,500.

At 1:21 a.m., a 58-year-old transient man was arrested on suspicion of contempt of court after deputies conducted a business check at the Carson Street Nugget Casino. Bail was set at $245.

At 1:49 a.m., a Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of contempt of court after deputies responded to reports of an intoxicated subject near Carson and Telegraph Streets. Bail was set at $1,000.

At 6 a.m., Pierce Horseman, 19, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony juvenile probation warrant after deputies conducted a pedestrian stop near 5th Street and the Overpass. No bail was set.

At 9:55 a.m., Star Savage, 57, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, DUI and stop sign violation after deputies initiated a traffic stop near the 3400 block of Highway 50. Bail was set at $3,550.

At 4:51 p.m., Michael Douglas, 47, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance and tail lamp violation after deputies initiated a traffic stop at the William Street Smiths. Bail was set at $2,525.

At 8:01 p.m., Zachary Christensen, 21, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance and DUI after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Long and Marian. Bail was set at $3,500.

At 8:18 p.m., a transient man was arrested on suspicion of contempt of court after deputies responded to reports of an unwanted subject near the Carson Street Cactus Jacks. Bail was set at $500.

MONDAY

At 4:09 a.m., Christopher Bostic, 43, of Benton City, Wash., was arrested on suspicion of three counts of felony sexual assault warrant after deputies initiated a traffic stop near the 1900 block of N. Carson Street. Bail was set at $40,000.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes.
