CEDA brings back popular raffle

The Churchill Economic Development Authority’s Business Council is presenting its second annual “Don’t Make Me Attend Another Event” fundraiser with prizes ranging from weekend cabin getaways to tickets for the Wolf Pack basketball and Aces baseball teams.

Each prize will be individually raffled. Individuals buy a ticket or tickets for the prizes they would like to win. All drawings will be conducted at the CEDA Christmas party on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at Nevada State Bank, 498 W. Williams Ave. Winner need not be present to win. Tickets may be purchased in advance from CEDA. The fundraiser is the Business Council’s contribution to CEDA’s budget.

Both the drawing and Christmas party are open to the public.

The $100 per ticket Gold Ticket Raffle prizes also include a fly fishing trio with Dennis Isbister, Spray in Bedliner from Camacho Auto Sales, two passes for the 2018-2019 Churchill Arts Council season and a half-page advertisement in the Lahontan Valley News.

The $50 Silver Ticket Raffle prizes include two passes for the winter and spring for Churchill Arts Council events, two tickets to the Reno Canfest courtesy of the Abbi Agency, two rounds of golf for two at the Fallon Golf Course, two passes for all 2018 Fallon Community Theatre events, two-night stay and two theater tickets for Harrah’s or Harvey’s Lake Tahoe, $150 gift certificate to the Stockman’s Steakhouse courtesy of Cyrq Energy, half-day equipment rental courtesy of Mills Farm & Industrial, two season passes for all Churchill County High School athletic events, one night stay and $50 dinner credit at the Atlantis in Reno, a jewelry item courtesy of Premier Pawnbrokers and four midfield tickets to Reno 1868 FC soccer.
