Two Virginia City seniors — Tanner Uken and Evan Breckenridge — are signing letters of intent at 10 a.m. Thursday.
Uken, a three-sport star for the Muckers, has signed to play baseball at Brescia University in Kentucky. The NAIA Bearcats are members of the River States Conference. Uken has been a member of three consecutve 1A Western titles, and in 2015, he was a member of the Muckers’ state title team.
Breckenridge, who was named the Western 1A Defensive Player of the Year in football, will be attending Buena Vista University in Iowa. The Beavers are a Division III school. Breckenridge led the Muckers to 10-1 seasons in 2016 and 2017.
