Man arrested after road rage incident in Carson City, says Carson City Sheriff’s Office

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.

MONDAY

At 11:38 p.m., a 33-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of petit larceny and ex-felon fail to register. Bail was set at $1,242.

TUESDAY

At 6:57 p.m., a 22-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of a warrant out of Douglas County. Bail was set at $1,000.

At 10:51 a.m. a 53-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of a temporary protection order violation. Bail was set at $3,137.

At 4:06 p.m., Mark Haole De La Cruz, 60 of Carson City, was arrested on suspicion of felony assault with a deadly weapon and false imprisonment. Deputies responded to Bodine’s Casino on report of a road rage incident. De La Cruz told deputies he was cut off by a woman driving a Kia. The woman told deputies De La Cruz allegedly came up behind her at a high rate of speed on Interstate 580. He then attempted to run her into other vehicles, she told deputies. The woman pulled into Bodine’s where the man blocked her in and proceeded to come up to the window banging on it and yelling obscenities, according to the arrest report.

Bail was set at $22,500.
