Carson High grad playing for NCAA volleyball title

Carson High graduate Natalie Anderson and the University of Tampa volleyball team will continue their quest for a national title on Thursday.

Anderson is a freshman setter with the Spartans, who have advanced to the Elite Eight of the Division II National Championships. Tampa (30-4) will play American International in the NCAA quarterfinals at 2 p.m. Thursday.

If Tampa wins, it will play in the winner between Washburn and Wingate in the semifinals on Friday. The championship match will be held at noon Saturday. Tampa is the No. 1 seed heading into the quarterfinals.
