Tuesday will mark 65 years of marriage for Wesley and Doris Boyer of Carson City.
Wesley and Doris Boyer will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary on Sept. 25.
The Boyers were high school sweethearts and married on Sept. 25, 1953, in San Jose, Calif.
They have two children — daughter Sandra (deceased) and son Dennis who lives in Reno with his wife Carmen.
They also have one grandson, Daniel, who lives in Carson City with his wife Shannon.
The Boyers have traveled extensively since retiring. They decided Carson City would be a good place to retire, which they did in 1996.
The Boyers are offered well wishes from family and friends and look forward to many more years together.
