Carson Middle School eighth grade students are participating in the annual Career Study. The students are researching career options and creating professional portfolios.

The students will soon be ready to put their workplace communication skills to the test, and the school is seeking volunteers from the community to conduct job interviews with the students.

These interviews allow the students the opportunity to practice communication skills while preparing for the workforce. The goal is to make the experience as true to life as possible. The interviewer will ask a few questions and fill in a simple response sheet for each student. Volunteers need to report to the library five minutes prior to their time slot to review a folder explaining the process. This is a fun and worthwhile event.
