What’s New @ the Library!

The library is your place to get the latest books, films and audiobooks. It has programming for all ages. Resources are available at the library or can be downloaded from the website. And it’s all free with a library card. It’s the best deal in town and February highlights include:

Reading with Rover: Feb. 7, 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. This program is geared for children to help improve their reading skills by reading to a dog.

Experience Virtual Reality, ages 18 and older: Feb. 8, 4:30 to 6 p.m. If you haven’t tried virtual reality, this is your chance.

Indie/folk singer Jetty Rae, Feb. 14 7 p.m., Fallon Theater. This free musical event is sponsored by the Churchill Library Association and is sure to be a great time.

Knitting Club, 10 a.m. to noon Tuesdays. This great group of knitters meets weekly.


New and noteworthy

The Enchanted Hour: The Miraculous Power of Reading Aloud in the Age of Distraction by Meghan Cox Gurdon — This engaging book details how the simple act of reading aloud can bring people together.

The Weight of a Piano by Chris Cander — The tale of two women told through their connection of a piano they both love.
