Oct 03, 1968 - Feb 09, 2019 Mark William Lindquist, beloved father, brother, son and friend passed away at his home in Carson City, NV on Feb. 9, 2019 at the age of 50. Mark was born in Pomona, CA and lived in the Carson/Reno area since the age of 3. He graduated from Carson High School in 1987. He will be remembered always for his wonderful sense of humor and big heart. He was a man of faith and truly loved his many friends. Mark was a Journeyman Electrician, employed as a facilities operator at Tesla Gigafactory. He enjoyed outdoor activities such as fishing, camping and skiing. He also enjoyed tinkering with cars and motorcycles, eating out (especially sushi), attending concerts and watching movies. Mark was preceded in death by his wife, Carmen M Garcia. He is survived by his parents Russell Lindquist (Judy) and Christine Gridley (Walter), a daughter, Sierra, and two sons, Logun and Quinn. He is also survived by his brother Steve Lindquist and sisters Laura Wouters and Jennie Lindquist, nephews Dakota and Noah Wouters, and two utterly spoiled canine companions Loki and Beau. A celebration of life will be held on Sat. Feb. 23 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Eagle Valley Golf Course, 3999 Centennial Park Dr, Carson City. In lieu of flowers the family requests a donation made in Mark's memory to the Salvation Army ARP, 1931 Sutro St., Reno, NV 89512 or as a gift to the Mark Lindquist Family Trust, Bank of America acct # 501023701173.
