The Department of Transportation has awarded the Fallon Paiute-Shoshone Tribe a federal grant to support public transit services.
Senators Jacky Rosen and Catherine Cortez Masto issued a statement saying the $115,000 award will provide access to work, health care and other essential services.
The two pledged to continue working in Congress to fund much needed transportation, health and educational programs for Nevada’s tribal communities.
