Greenwave archery takes 2nd at state tournament

The Greenwave archery team took second in the 12-school National Archery in the Schools Program State Tournament in Las Vegas on Feb. 6. The Greenwave, coached by Dean Schultz, which has won five state titles in the last eight years, finished second for the second time and the other finish was third. Shelbi Schultz finished second in the high school girls division with a score of 283 out of 300. Neil Baker finished fourth in the high school boys division with a score of 279. Tanner Huckaby, an eighth grader, finished second in the middle school boys division with a score of 268.
