Nevada Wolf Pack 10th in both polls

RENO — The 16-1 University of Nevada men’s basketball team is No. 10 in both major college basketball polls this week. The Wolf Pack remained No. 10 in the Associated Press poll and moved up one spot to No. 10 in the USA Today Coaches poll after two Mountain West victories last week.

Nevada has been ranked all 11 weeks in the AP poll and all 10 weeks of the USA Today Coaches poll. The Pack’s highest ranking of the season was No. 5 on Nov. 26 in the AP poll and No. 5 on Dec. 31 in the USA Today Coaches poll. Both are the highest ranking in school history.

Nevada returns to action on Tuesday at Boise State. The game is a 6 p.m. and will air on CBS Sports Network.
