Nevada Black History event set in Carson City

A Nevada Black History celebration will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 4 at La Santaneca Restaurant, 316 E. Winnie Lane in Carson City.

Jo Etta Brown, executive vice president of the Alliance for Retired Americans, will be the keynote speaker and Nevada Attorney General Aaron Ford and Carson City photographer Charles Adams will be guest speakers.

Admission is $10 and includes a Salvadorian buffet. The event is sponsored by Our Story, Inc. For information, call 775-741-5103.
