RSVP will hold its quarterly training session for volunteers and field representatives on Monday from 9 a.m.–noon. This training will be hosted at the Cooperative Extension Office, 2621 Northgate Lane, Suite 12 in Carson City. Interested parties are encouraged to join us for this free training.
The training will focus on the benefits and responsibilities of volunteering with RSVP. It will cover the basics and provide a question and answer session. RSVP’s mission is to provide Lifesaving Volunteer Programs who help seniors maintain their dignity, self-respect and independence.
The training will also be broadcast to various locations in rural Nevada. For information regarding the locations of the training, if you’re interested in becoming a volunteer, or if you’re in need of assistance and would like to learn more about our programs, give us a call and you’re welcome to join us.
