Joseph Franklin Enos August 27, 1964 - September 22, 2019

On September 22, 2019, Joseph Franklin Enos passed away at the age of 55. Joseph was born on August 27, 1964 in Fallon to Gary and Eloise Chappell Enos. The family lived in Hawaii and Taiwan for two years each; then Joseph and his mother returned to Fallon for one year while his father served in Viet Nam. He attended kindergarten at Cottage School during that period.

His next destination was New Jersey for a year and then Arizona for four years. His sister, Maile, was born just before the family was transferred to Texas for the next four years. He attended high school in Alaska for three years and Louisiana for one year, before returning to Fallon in 1983 after his father retired from the Air Force.

Joseph began taking classes at WNCC; his favorite were the computer courses! He later worked as a payroll specialist for Computing Resources at their Fallon branch. Joseph enjoyed playing Dungeon and Dragons, board games, and video games. He appreciated going to movies with his buddies. He liked science fiction best, but would watch a wide variety of movies and television shows. Joseph also liked rock and metal music and Asian cuisine.

As a child, he was known as Joey; he is still called that by his aunts, uncles, and cousins. As a teenager, he went by Joseph. Later his friends and co-workers called him, Joe. Whatever name you know him by, you will remember his dry sense of humor, gentle soul, and big heart.

Joseph was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Cecilia and Martin Feliciano of Hawaii and his maternal grandparents, Stanley and Ruby Chappell and his father, Gary (all of Fallon).

He is survived by his mother, Eloise of Fallon and sister, Maile of Reno.  A celebration of life will be held at a future date.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite charity or perform a random act of kindness when you think of him!
