More hectoring
Regarding Rick Van Alfen’s snark-filled letter to the editor (Appeal, July 28) badgering readers to get COVID vaccinations, some questions. Isn’t Van Alfen’s side of the political aisle waiving illegal border crossers by the hundreds of thousands, untested for COVID or any other diseases, into the United States? Why is the Biden administration kicking off a very coercive vaccination mandate for U.S. citizens even as it buses and flies these aliens into communities all around the country?
I encourage the humanitarian Van Alfen to demand answers from the feds about this much larger and more dangerous COVID exposure. Maybe then he’d have the moral authority to hector his fellow citizens. I believe it’s Matthew 7:3 that says: You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother's eye.

United we stand
This is a call out to all patriotic moderate Democrats across the country who are frightened by what has happened to America in the last six months.
Like him or not, in four years President Trump did more for this country and the American people than has been done for decades. Sadly, Biden isn't strong enough to withstand the pressure from radical leftists who are trying to push for the ideals of socialism, Marxism and communism which have been proven to be a disaster in many countries.
Patriotic Americans need to stand together to fight the corruption that has invaded the FBI, CIA, FCC, FTC, FDA, DOJ, CDC, NEA, Congress, the court system, the military, big tech and pharma, mainstream and social media and sports.
This corruption has destroyed the safe guards set up our Founding Fathers in the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.
America’s future is in our hands. As Abe Lincoln said, "United we stand, divided we fall.”

Response to Rick Van Alfen
America, at least right now, allows for freedom of choice. That means that we can choose what medications to take or what vaccines are introduced into our bodies, despite people like you and your insane party of control freaks, who want to strip our freedoms to mandate your agenda.
You mention "science" without any data to back up your claim. Fact: COVID has a recovery rate in excess of 98 percent, even in the elderly population. Fact: Our body's immune system works better than ANY experimental vaccine. Fact: There are inexpensive medications currently available that have been proven to be highly effective when used as a prophylactic or at the early stages of symptoms as testified to by actual "treating" physicians on thousands of their patients. Fact: Pharmaceutical companies are currently seeing billions of dollars in profits from the sale to our government of these experimental vaccines.
We know who is profiting from the sale of these vaccines and what party is receiving donations from those people. If these "vaccines" are so effective, why is there now a need to have booster shots and still wear masks, even indoors? Why are fully vaccinated people still contracting COVID? Why has the CDC stopped tracing break through cases? Why should Americans be forced to take an experimental vaccine that has been shown to have severe side effects such as paralysis, blood clots, tremors, and death?
No one is denying that people are dying from COVID. People are also dying from the flu, although you never hear any mention of the flu since COVID appeared. This is about control of the people through the use of intimidation, threats, humiliation, bullying and shaming. Stop it! Let the people make up their own minds as to what is right for them.
