Nevada reached a milestone Thursday as the Nevada Health Response team reported half of all eligible Nevadans are now fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
In addition, the team reports that 60.5 percent of eligible residents have now gotten at least one shot.
The vaccines are available to all persons aged 12 and older and Gov. Steve Sisolak said now is the time for those who have received their shots to encourage friends and family members who haven’t been vaccinated to get the shots. He said that is the way out of the pandemic for everyone.
The shots are free and insurance isn’t required.
