An Oregon man was killed Friday night after his GMC Yukon truck failed to negotiate a curve on Butti Way just 200 yards form Airport Road.

An Oregon man was killed Friday night after his GMC Yukon truck failed to negotiate a curve on Butti Way just 200 yards form Airport Road.

Hannah DeGoey of the Nevada Highway Patrol said Cody Furr, 32, of Prineville, Oregon, was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected when the vehicle overturned. He was pronounced dead at the scene.


DeGoey said both speed and impairment are suspected in the crash.
