Gov. Steve Sisolak on Monday named DuAne Young as policy director for his office.
He replaces Heather Korbulic, who held that post through the 2021 Legislature.
Sisolak said Korbulic has returned to her position at director of the Silver State Health Insurance Exchange, a job she has held since 2016.
Young previously served in the Department of Health and Human Services where he held several posts including deputy administrator of medical programs and community-based services.
Sisolak said Young has 14 years of experience in state government, six years in Nevada state government.
He has a master’s from Wesleyan University and is working on his doctorate in education.
