Open enrollment began Monday for health insurance plans through the Nevada health insurance exchange.
This year, clients can choose from seven carriers offering 126 qualified health and dental insurance plans — including 20 dental plans.
Exchange Director Heather Korbulic said plans are available in all Nevada counties and tailored to fit the needs and budgets of all. The plans are designed for those workers who don’t have employer-sponsored health insurance including self-employed and gig workers.
In addition, she said the American Rescue Plan offers increased tax credits to help lower monthly premiums.
Korbulic said the subsidies to offset plan premiums are only available through NevadaHealthLink.com.
Open enrollment runs through Jan. 15.
