Sheriff: Carson City jail inmate slaps other inmate, gets more charges

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
SATURDAY, NOV. 13
• A 51-year-old Carson City man was arrested on felony domestic battery. Bail was set at $20,000
SUNDAY
• A 37-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on two charges of felony battery by a prisoner and three charges of resisting a peace officer and one charge of disturbing the peace. She was initially arrested for her safety after appearing heavily intoxicated. Upon arrest she was transported to the hospital where she became argumentative and began to fight with deputies. Bail was set at $43,603.
MONDAY
• A 34-year-old Mound House man was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, ex-felon failing to register and petit larceny. He was arrested in the 1400 block of South Carson Street after stealing from a business. Bail was set at $3,492.
• Allen White, a 50-year-old in custody at the Carson City Jail, was re-arrested on suspicion of battery of a prisoner after he allegedly slapped another prisoner. Bail was set at $20,000 on the felony charge.
