The Carson City Extension office is hosting a 4-H Open House informational meeting at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 18 at the UNR Extension office Conference Room, 2621 Northgate Lane, Suite 12. C ome learn about 4-H and meet leaders and members. 4-H is for youth ages 9-19. 4-H project examples include horseless horse, gardening and nature, sewing, cat, dog, small and large livestock and many more. 4-H offers an exclusive opportunity to make friends and gain life skills through project-based sessions we are planning for the next year. An annual celebration and related exhibition showcasing the projects members make throughout the year will be hosted as a culminating family focused event. Enrollment will occur on 4-H online version 2.0 and directions will be provided.
