STATE OF NEVADA – GOVERNOR’S OFFICE
OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT REQUEST
FOR PROPOSAL: RECOVERY HOUSING
PROGRAM ACTION PLAN FOR NEVADA
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN The State of
Nevada received funding from United States
Department of Housing and Urban Development
through the Community Development
Block Grant program for the Recovery Housing
Program (RHP). This program provides
funding for states and the District of Columbia
to provide stable, transitional housing for
individuals in recovery from a substance use
disorder. RHP was authorized under Section
8071 of the Support for Patients and Communities
(SUPPORT) Act. HUD published its
formula in the Federal Register on April 17,
2019 (84 FR 16027), identifying the 25 eligible
grantees and allocation percentages.
The State of Nevada request proposals to develop
an RHP Action Plan by December 31,
2021. The RHP Action Plan must describe
how RHP funds will be distributed with priority
given to entities with the greatest need and
entities with the ability to deliver effective
assistance in a timely manner. The RHP
Action Plan will outline Nevada’s strategy for
the most effective implementation of RHP
funds to provide stable, temporary housing to
individuals in recovery from a substance use
disorder.

17th, 2021, by email to jsanders@diversifynevada.
com.

All questions must be submitted to the State
of Nevada, Governor’s Office of Economic
Development, no later than September 5,
2021, at 2:00 PM. Deadline for submission of
proposals no later than 5:00 PM on September
17, 2021. Contract start date on or
around September 27, 2021.
