The Nevada Secretary of State’s office is moving two of its business filings to online-only beginning in June.
They are the annual list of renewals for business entities and the state business license applications.
Commercial Recordings Deputy Kim Perondi said the change should make the filing process more efficient for businesses as well as for staff.
The Secretary of State’s SilverFlume business portal is available at all times, she said.
However, she said those who require in-person filings are advised processing may take up to six weeks and the 24-hour expedited services will no longer be available.
She advised anyone with questions or concerns to contact customer service at 775-684-5708 during normal business hours.
