ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

Separate sealed Bids for the construction of the E Park Street Utility

Improvement Project will be received by FISH NV, the Owner, at

their administrative office located at 308 N. Curry Street, Suite 200

Carson City, NV 89703 until 2:00 pm, local time, on May 4, 2022, at

which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud.

The Work consists of performing or providing all labor, services, and

documentation necessary to produce such construction and furnishing,

installing, and incorporating all materials and equipment into such

construction, all as required by the Contract Documents.

The Work generally includes but is not limited to: Removal of existing

concrete improvements, landscaping, bituminous plantmix, sanitary

sewer and pipelines, and waterline. Constructing new concrete

improvements, bituminous plantmix pavement, sanitary sewer and

manholes, 8-inch sanitary sewer, sanitary sewer lateral connections,

6-inch waterline and associated appurtenances, water service lateral

connections, and all miscellaneous and incidental work necessary to

complete the project in conformance with the contract documents.

The Contract Documents may be examined and obtained on April 11,

2022 at 9:00 a.m. at the following location:

A non-refundable deposit of $25.00 will be charged to log into the plan

room to obtain each set of Plans and Contract Documents.

A pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 a.m. local time on April

19, 2022 at 308 N. Curry Street, Suite 200 Carson City, NV 89703.

Attendance at the pre-bid conference is highly encouraged but is not

mandatory.

A Mandatory Certified Payroll Training with Carson City and Nevada

Governor’s Office of Economic Development for all contractors and

subcontractor will be held prior to construction starting. The training is

for contractors and subcontractor’s payroll staff.

This is a Federal-aid contract and the requirements for such shall

apply. On a Federal-aid contract, any Contractor otherwise qualified by

the State of Nevada to perform such work is not required to be licensed

nor to submit application for license in advance of submitting a bid or

having such bid considered. This does not constitute a waiver of the

State’s right under its license laws to require a Contractor, determined

to be a successful bidder, to be licensed to do business in the State of

Nevada with a Class A prior to award of the contract.

Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with Section 00200,

Instructions to Bidders. Each Bid must be submitted on the prescribed

form (separate Bid package) and accompanied by a certified check or

Bid Bond in accordance with Section 00200. Successful Bidders will

be required to furnish both a Payment Bond and Performance Bond in

the full amount of the contact price.

The Owner will not award the Contract to a Bidder who, at the time of

award, was not properly licensed under the provisions of Chapter 624

of NRS or if the Contract would exceed the limit of the Bidders license.
