At the corner of Winnie Lane and North Carson Street sits a business committed to wellness in an understated strip mall, Start Now Wellness Center owned by Cheryl Pricco.
Featured are all sorts of detoxifying treatments to revitalize the body by reducing inflammation, boosting circulation, and ridding the body of environmental toxins.
Pricco offers specialized detoxifying machines to provide results for physical and mental well-being. The infrared sauna therapy eliminates seven times more toxins than Swedish saunas while promoting relaxation of muscles and improving circulation. Mud baths rid the body of toxins as does the ionic cleanse foot bath.
Pricco knows no place outside of Reno to receive hyperbaric oxygen therapy, therefore she offers such machines used to accelerate the healing of stubborn wounds and infections as well as increase circulation and reduce swelling.
Pricco also operates two laser lipo therapy machines that work to reduce fat cells along with a whole-body vibration machine that can firm and tone. She specializes in low level light therapy, a non-invasive treatment used to relieve pain and other musculoskeletal conditions.
The center is under the direction of Dr. Zayd Ratansi, a licensed naturopathic physician and a global authority on hyperbaric, bio-oxidative, and environmental medicine.
Hours of operation are Monday-Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and by appointment on Saturday.
