Nevada Transportation Board OKs Douglas, Storey projects

The Nevada Transportation Board has approved four projects including repairs on State Routes 207 and 341 in western Nevada.
The project cost is $1.39 million. It includes the repair and replacement of guardrail and roadside drainage berms on those two roadways in Douglas, Storey and Washoe counties.
In addition, the board approved a $1.13 million project to build a shared-use path parallel to State Route 447 in Wadsworth. The project includes drainage, ramp and pedestrian crossing improvements.
Finally, it approved construction of a shared-use path parallel to State Route 317 just south of Caliente. The work includes road surface work, lighting, ramp and pedestrian crossing improvements for $1.37 million.
In Southern Nevada, the board approved a project resurfacing two miles of Rancho Drive from Bonanza Road to Lake Mead Boulevard.
NDOT officials said the projects should create 164 jobs.
