Charles Berton, 70, was arrested Saturday on a half dozen felony counts, including indecent exposure in front of an 8-year-old girl.
The arrest report said the violations occurred at Fulstone Family Park.
Berton initially gave officers a false name but when confronted, admitted his last name was Berton.
The mother of the victim positively identified him as the person who exposed himself to her daughter.
A background check showed an active warrant issued in Los Angeles County Superior Court for violating parole conditions. It also showed he was a Tier 3 sex offender.
The background check also showed a history of multiple felony sexual offenses and identified him as an habitual criminal.
He was charged with felony offenses of child abuse, failing to register as a sex offender, indecent exposure in the presence of a child, indecent exposure second and as a fugitive from justice as well as a habitual criminal for multiple current and prior felonies. He was also charged with open and gross lewdness.
Bail was set at $145,000.
