Joyful Noise Carson Children's Choir directed by Michelle Powers will present several holiday performances in Carson City and Carson Valley this year.

• Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Skyline Estates Senior Living, 2861 Mountain St.

• Saturday at 1:30 p.m. and 2 p.m., at Carson Valley Senior Living, 1189 Kimmerling Road, Gardnerville.

• Saturday, Dec. 10, from 12:30-1:30 p.m. at the start of Carson City Historical Society’s “Victorian Christmas Tour,” Foreman-Roberts House, 1207 N. Carson St.

• Sunday, Dec. 11 at 3 p.m., lobby entertainment at 39th annual Holiday Treat Concert at Carson City Community Center, 851 E. William St.

Joyful Noise Carson Children’s Choir, a tuition-free educational program of the Carson City Symphony Association, is open to children ages 4 to 12 and performs several times a year. The children’s choir is supported in part by public funds through a grant from the Nevada Arts Council and the National Endowment for the Arts and by private donations.
