The Lady Bighorns basketball team split a pair of games last week against Sierra Sage Academy/ROP and Coleville. The season concludes Saturday.

Oasis Academy defeated Sierra Sage, 56-48, on Friday in Yerington before falling at Coleville, 45-15, on Saturday.


Senior Jaylee McEwen led the team with 29 points against Sierra Sage, freshman Taylynn Maynez scored nine points, and senior Gabby Hockenberry-Grimes and junior Tylie Norcutt each added eight.


On Saturday, Coleville jumped to a 23-1 lead and added 16 more in the second to take a 39-4 advantage at halftime.


The Bighorns boys basketball team fell to Coleville, 48-30, on Saturday after the Wolves scored 30 points after leading 18-17 at halftime.
No individual statistics were available from the Coleville games.


Oasis Academy concludes the regular season this weekend with a home game against Sage Ridge on Friday before traveling to Pyramid Lake on Saturday.
