Carson City road report as of Thursday. The following applies to June 13-19.
Road closures are expected at the following locations due to road/utility work:
Center Drive between Snyder Avenue and Clear Creek Avenue will be closed, Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for roadway reconstruction. The intersection of Clear Creek Avenue and Center Drive will be open with no access to Center north of Clear Creek. Detour route, is Clear Creek Avenue and Snyder Avenue.
Russett Way between Winnie Lane and Jeanell Drive will be closed, Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. for utility work.
Schulz Drive between Race Track Road and Rabe Way will be closed, Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. for utility work.
Sewer and Water Line Replacement Closures (7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.):
Robinson Street between Phillips Street and Minnesota Street will be closed Monday and Wednesday.
Robinson Street at Minnesota Street will be closed Tuesday.
Robinson Street at Phillips Street will be closed Thursday.
Special Event Road Closures (Sunday, 9 a.m. to midnight):
Carson Street between Robinson Street and 5th Street.
2nd Street between Carson Street and Curry Street.
4th Street between Carson Street and Curry Street.
Musser Street between Curry Street and Plaza Street.
Proctor Street between Curry Street and Plaza Street.
Telegraph Street between Curry Street and Plaza Street.
Spear Street between Curry Street and Carson Street.
Lane restrictions are expected at the following locations due to road/utility work:
Caroline Street between Minnesota Street and Phillips Street will have narrowed lanes and shoulder work, Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for sewer and water line replacement.
Carson River Road between 5th Street and Camballeria Drive will have shoulder work, Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for roadway reconfiguration.
Center Drive between Clear Creek Avenue and Topsy Lane will be reduced to one lane with flaggers, Wednesday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for roadway reconstruction.
Center Drive at Clear Creek Avenue will be flagger controlled, Tuesday and Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for roadway reconstruction.
Curry Street between 10th Street and Lake Glen Drive will be reduced to one lane with flaggers, Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. for pavement preservation. There will also be intermittent lane closures on nearby Lake Glen Drive.
5th Street between Regent Court and Fairview Drive will have shoulder work, Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for road reconfiguration.
Hobart Road at County Line Road will be reduced to one lane with flaggers and have shoulder work, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for storm drain improvements.
Long Street between Roop Street and Rand Avenue will be reduced to one lane with flaggers, Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for roadway reconstruction.
Rand Avenue between William Street and Camille Drive will have narrowed lanes, Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for roadway reconstruction.
Silver Sage Drive between Sunchase Court and Colorado Street will be reduced to one lane with flaggers, Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. for pavement preservation. There will also be intermittent lane closures on nearby Sonoma Street, Chateau Drive and Colorado Street.
Wagon Wheel Road at Meadow Wood Road will be reduced to one lane with flaggers and have shoulder work, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for storm drain improvements.
