REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS

Professional Architectural/

Engineering Services

Churchill County, Nevada, is requesting

Statements of Qualification (SOQ) from

professional Architecture/Engineering firms

for the purpose of providing architectural/

engineering services for the construction of

a new district courthouse located in Fallon,

Nevada.

Churchill County is seeking to contract with

an architectural/engineering firm to design

a new courthouse that will house the 10th

Judicial District court and ancillary offices.

The new courthouse will be located on the

county-owned property located on the corner

of Williams Avenue, North Maine and A Street.

The project will require the demolition of the

CC Communications building located between

the Justice Court and the Fire Station. Due to

area constraints, the project will likely require

two stories. It is anticipated that the design

will consist of two courtrooms (perhaps three)

with jury boxes, jury rooms, offices for court

personnel, a connection between the new

building and the existing justice court building,

secured parking and entrance for personnel

and separate secured entrance for inmates,

witness waiting rooms, attorney-client rooms,

and a public waiting area.

Information about the project and a complete

Request For Qualifications (RFQ) package

can be obtained by contacting Chris Spross,

Public Works, Planning & Zoning Director, at

cspross@churchillcountynv.gov. Seven (7)

individual copies of the proposal should be

submitted to the attention of Chris Spross,

Public Works, Planning & Zoning Director, at

the address below and clearly marked on the

outside “Request for Qualifications - District

Courthouse Project” no later than 3:00pm local

time, Friday, July 1, 2022.
