Silver City hosts Silver Palooza Music and Art Festival

Silver City residents will continue the tradition of bringing live music and art programming to the community during the Silver Palooza Music and Art Festival on Sunday, July 3 from noon to 6 p.m. at the Silver Pavilion in the Silver City Town Park, 385 High St., in Silver City.
Live music performances will feature artists Darren Senn, Smilin’ Bob, Betty & James, and Drinking with Clowns. Each artist will perform in 45-minute intervals with the first performance beginning at noon and the last at 4 p.m.
Interactive art projects and displays will include a poster coloring contest, laser engraving booth, lawn games, and a cake walk. Festival goers can also explore Brian Schorn’s Comstock Wabi Sabi art exhibit as well a local artists exhibit.
Food, beer, wine, and other beverages will be available for purchase. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and sunscreen.
Donations are encouraged. All proceeds will go to the Silver City Schoolhouse Community Center and arts and culture programming to benefit the public.
