The Churchill County Commission canvassed on June 22 the 2022 Churchill County primary election held eight days earlier. Commissioners directed the Churchill County clerk to enter an abstract of the result containing the number of votes cast for each candidate and directing her to certify the same, make a copy thereof, and to complete a mechanized report of the Abstract in compliance with regulations adopted by the Secretary of State and to transmit such as required by statutes. Required by N.R.S. 293.387(1), a Canvass of the Votes of the Official Churchill County Primary Election held on June 14 must be completed by the Churchill County Board of Commissioners within 10 days following the election. Commissioners noted voting in this year’s primary election went smoothly and no major problems were noted. Churchill County completed its results for the primary election before 9 p.m. on June 14.
