Terry Maffi and Dave Paltzik are changing the face of Carson Tahoe Hotel.
They’re the new owners of the building at 800 N. Carson St., and they’re currently in negotiations to rebrand the hotel under a national franchise.
“We’re hoping that we’ll be in here over the next three, four weeks cleaning and refurbishing,” Paltzik told the Appeal while he was visiting the property on Wednesday. He said that material and labor shortages may affect the opening timeline.
He and Maffi are planning to welcome guests in April or May, just in time for summer vacations.
“We’re excited. We think it has a lot of potential,” Maffi said.
