The Tiger baseball team posted two wins over the weekend against league foes, toppling Damonte Ranch (6-2) before taking down Reed (14-5).
Keegan Snooks was the man of the hour in the win over the Mustangs’, dealing his way through six innings of work on the mound, giving up a single run.
Snooks struck out 13 batters and in doing so registered his first win of the season. Thomas Young was 2-for-4 with a pair of RBIs while Gavin Davis tallied a 2-for-2 day at the dish as well.
Saturday, Douglas fell behind 4-0 after two innings but rallied with a nine-run seventh to tip the scales against Reed.
Young and Carson Hill each drove in three RBIs at the plate while Carter Bleeker added a pair of his own.
UP NEXT: Douglas (5-2) has three home games this week, hosting Fallon Tuesday, Spanish Springs Thursday and Mammoth (CA) Saturday.
