Carson City Historic Resources Commission launches annual scavenger hunt

The hunt for historic architecture is on in downtown Carson City. In honor of Historic Preservation and Archeological Awareness Month, the city Historic Resources Commission has opened the 2022 Scavenger Hunt.
The theme of the year is 1868-1900 architecture. Participants will use up-close photos to identify buildings in the historic district.

Completed answers are due by 3 p.m. on May 31. Answers may be submitted in person at 108 E. Proctor St. or emailed to planning@carson.org.
For the fourth year in a row, Jim Phalan of Fox Brewpub is donating a gift card to the person whose hunt is drawn from correct entries.
