The Carson City Treasurer’s Office would like to remind property owners to pay their property taxes for this tax year and any delinquent water or sewer bills. Property taxes are due by 5 p.m. Monday, June 6. The Treasurer’s Office will file a tax deed against any property that does not meet the payment deadline. Water and sewer bills that have not been paid for more than 54 days will also be placed on the property owner’s tax bill. The 2021-22 property tax year ends Thursday, June 30. The 2022-23 property tax year runs Friday, July 1 to Friday, June 30, 2023. The property tax bills for the 2022-23 tax year are mailed approximately the third week in July. The first property tax payment is due Monday, Aug. 15.
