Early voting starts Saturday in Churchill County

The primary will be held June 14. Early voting for the primary runs from Saturday and ends June 10. The polls will be closed Memorial Day.
• The Churchill County Clerk’s office has sent out sample ballots. If you did not receive one, call 775-423-6028.
• The Clerk’s Office encourages voters to check their registration by contacting 775-423-6028 or elections@churchillcounty.org . Voters can also check their registration at https://www.nvsos.gov/votersearch/
• After May 17, voters may make any changes online at www.nvsos.gov. May 18-May 27 – Online only voter registration, voter registration changes or party affiliation changes. www.RegisterToVoteNV.gov  (If someone registers or updates their registration online during this time period, their ballot will be mailed to them)
• Saturday – June 10, Commission chambers; June 14 at the convention center — Same day in-person registration, registration updates, or party affiliation changes at the Churchill County Clerk’s Office during vote center hours. Voters must provide a valid Nevada Driver’s License or Nevada Identification Card and proof of residency.
  • If you do not receive a ballot by Friday, or you need a replacement ballot, contact the Clerk’s Office at 775-423-6028.  All requests for replacement ballots will be processed and mailed by 5 p.m., May 31. 
• The Commission chambers will serve as the only vote center for early voting. The actual general election date is June 14, and voting will be conducted at the Fallon Convention Center. 
Secure ballot drop boxes are located at both the Clerk’s Office and Recorder’s Office entrances.  A drop box will be located at the north end of the county’s administration building and inside at the Fallon City Clerk’s office and Tribal Administration office on Rio Vista Drive.
