Troop 150 from Washoe County traveled to Carson City to participate in flag placement ahead of Memorial Day.

Carson City residents placed flags at Lone Mountain Cemetery on Friday to honor deceased veterans in honor of Memorial Day. The event was organized by Chapter 7 of the Disabled American Veterans.
The Hefner family takes turns staking the ground to plant flags. Father John Hefner and his dad are both members of the Nevada Army National Guard.
