Open Space Advisory Committee has open seat

The Carson City Board of Supervisors is seeking applicants to serve on the Carson City Open Space Advisory Committee.

There is one open position for a partial term that expires January 2024.

The purpose of the committee is to promote the quality of life for citizens of Carson City through the preservation and protection of the natural environment.

Meetings are held the third Monday of every other month at 5:30 p.m. in the Bob Crowell Board Room at the Carson City Community Center.

Applicants must be Carson City registered voters to qualify. Applications will be accepted until Nov. 18. Interviews will be held at the regularly scheduled Board of Supervisors meeting Dec. 1.
