Korea War veteran film

Honor Flight Nevada, Association of the U.S. Army Gen. Westmoreland Chapter and Veterans of Foreign Wars Silver State Post 3396 are hosting the premier of “Devotion,” a film based on the book Devotion: An Epic Story of Heroism, Friendship, and Sacrifice by Adam Makos.

The showing is Nov. 23 at the Galaxy Theatre Victorian in Sparks, 1250 Victorian Ave.

This movie is free to all Korean War veterans and guests. The preshow is 6:30 p.m. and the showing is at 7 p.m.

Makos retells the comradeship between naval officers Jesse Brown and Tom Hudner during the Korean War.

The sponsors are seeking help to invite Korean War Veterans to participate. There is also room for veterans and guests. Currently, the plan is to present the Republic of South Korea-Korean War Ambassador for Peace Medal to all Korean War veterans prior to the showing of the movie. Please help us to fill the theater with Korean War Veterans.
