Road report as of Thursday. The following applies to Oct. 10-16:
Road closures are expected at the following locations due to road/utility work:
Challenger Way between College Parkway and Hot Springs Road will be closed, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for utility work.
Curry Street between 5th Street and Musser Street will be closed, Monday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., for roadway improvements. Pedestrian access will be available via the 3rd Street parking lot.
Overland Street between Voltaire Street and Cochise Street will be closed, Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. for utility work.
Park Street between John Street and Long Street will be closed, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for utility work.
Rice Street between Carson Street and Fall Street will be closed Saturday, 8 a.m. to midnight for a special event.
Lane restrictions are expected at the following locations due to road/utility work:
U.S. 50 between Russell Way and Airport Road will have lane and shoulder closures in the eastbound direction, Monday-Friday, 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. for roadway and sidewalk reconstruction. Work zone speed limits will be reduced to 35 mph, and drivers should expect minor delays. Pedestrians must use existing crosswalks to detour to the north side of the street.
The following streets will have narrowed lanes and shoulder work between Nevada Street and Mountain Street, Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.: Caroline Street, Robinson Street, Spear Street and Telegraph Street.
Carson Street at Clearview Drive will have shoulder work, Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for signal repairs.
Clearview Drive at Carson Street will have lane reductions, Tuesday-Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for signal repairs.
5th Street between Saliman Road and Warm Springs Road will be reduced to one lane with flaggers, Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. for utility work.
Forrest Way between Goni Drive and the cul-de-sac will be reduced to one lane with flaggers, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for utility work.
Mountain Street between Long Street and Fleischmann Way will have shoulder work, Monday-Friday, 24 hours a day for utility work.
Robinson Street at Division Street will be flagger-controlled, Monday-Tuesday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for roadway reconstruction.
Saliman Road between 5th Street and Evans Street will have reduced lanes, Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for utility work.
Sheep Drive between Deer Run Road and Asphalt Drive will be reduced to one lane with flaggers, Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. for utility work.
Stewart Street between 7th Street and Musser Street will be reduced to one lane with flaggers, Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. for utility work.
