Commissioner Vida Keller speaks out
As a conservative Republican, I not only value Republican beliefs, but I also live by their core values. God and country are not just words they have meaning. Actions are even stronger than words. I often hear the talk from our politicians, but they don't walk the walk.
Take U.S. Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto: Nice lady if you ever get the chance to meet her, polite, relates to the people when she is home in Nevada. Then she's off to Washington, D.C., where she continually votes to raise taxes and take away our rights.
So back here in Nevada, we are suffering from extreme inflation with gas prices, groceries are now exorbitant as well. Cortez Masto votes with the D.C. Biden followers who have vowed to take away our gun rights, parental rights, and who refuse to secure our borders from drug traffickers, sex traffickers, and alike, that are putting our young people at risk. Our education system has been broken and they continue to attack our small businesses.
So, I ask you do you want to continue down this path where our military and our law enforcement is under continued threat, while Washington, D.C., followers just keep voting for themselves and not for we, the people?
It’s time to vote for we, the people. No more talk; actions speak louder than words. We can’t risk the future of our country to socialism.
Therefore, I am endorsing Adam Laxalt for U.S. Senate; his actions will speak louder than words.
Vida Keller
Lyon County Board of Commissioners Chairwoman
