LCSO: Child porn investigation leads to Dayton arrest

One man was arrested Thursday and faces child pornography charges in an investigation that lasted more than a month, according to a news release from the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office.
Noah Burton-William Rose was arrested after a search warrant was executed at a Dayton residence on Thursday, the release said. Rose’s age and city of residence were not provided.
LCSO Investigations Bureau detectives and Northern Nevada Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force began the investigation Aug. 24 after receiving information from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, the release said.
Probable cause was developed to obtain a search warrant for a Dayton residence and the warrant was executed Thursday, resulting in the arrest of Rose, the release said.
Rose was booked into the Lyon County jail on charges of: Preparing, advertising or distributing materials depicting sexual conduct of a person younger than 16; and possession of visual presentation depicting sexual conduct of a person younger than 16.

The Northern Nevada Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force is comprised of investigators from the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office, Sparks Police Department, Reno Police Department, Nevada Attorney General’s Office, the Department of Homeland Security Investigations, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
