(“UPWP”)
NOTICE OF THIRTY (30) DAY PUBLIC
COMMENT PERIOD ON AN ANNUAL
UPDATE TO THE FISCAL YEAR 2023 AND
FISCAL YEAR 2024 UNIFIED PLANNING
WORK PROGRAM. This announcement
is being initiated as required by CAMPO’s
Public Participation Plan which requires a thirty
(30) day public comment period before the
draft annual update to the UPWP document
may be approved. The thirty (30) day public
comment period opened on April 8, 2023 and
will close end of day, May 8, 2023. A public
hearing will be held on May 10, 2023, during
the regularly scheduled CAMPO meeting.

Carson City Public Works Department office
located at 3505 Butti Way and on the CAMPO
website at www.carsonareampo.com.
The UPWP defines the continuing, comprehensive,
and cooperative regional transportation
planning process for CAMPO. It
establishes the Carson Area MPO regional
planning objectives and priorities for Fiscal
Years 2023 and 2024, covering the period
of July 1, 2022, through June 30, 2024, and
includes a corresponding budget to complete
the work. Staff is available Monday through
Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. to
meet with the public and to answer any questions
regarding the UPWP. Public comments
are encouraged during this time.
