 NOTICE TO CARSON CITY RESIDENTS: 

VOTER REGISTRATION DEADLINES 

PRESIDENTIAL PREFERENCE PRIMARY ELECTION 

FEBRUARY 6, 2024 

Pursuant to NRS 293.560, notice is hereby given, of the following voter registration deadlines for the February 6, 2024, Presidential Preference Primary Election. 

PLEASE VERIFY YOUR VOTER REGISTRATION on the Nevada Secretary of State’s online registration link (www.registertovote.nv.gov) or by contacting the County Clerk’s Office at (775) 887-2087 prior to the below deadlines. 

01/09/2024 IN-PERSON AND POSTMARKED MAIL VOTER 

REGISTRATION DEADLINE 

01/10 - 01/23/2024 EXTENDED PERIOD TO REGISTER TO VOTE OR 

UPDATE YOUR VOTER 

REGISTRATION ONLINE (www.registertovote.nv.gov) 

• To register online you must have a Nevada Driver’s License or 

Nevada issued Identification Card and a Social Security Number. 

01/24 - 02/06/2024 SAME DAY REGISTRATION 

(ONLINE OR IN-PERSON) 

• Individuals registering to vote online or updating their registration 

online during this time period must appear at the polling location 

during Early Voting or on Election Day and provide a valid Tribal ID card, Nevada Driver’s License or Nevada Identification Card and proof of residency. 

• If you are a new registrant in Carson City, you will be issued a 

provisional ballot. 

IMPORTANT: If you moved to another county within the State of Nevada you are required to register to vote in your new county.
