Silver State Gymnastics had its first competition of the season at the 2023 Great Destinations meet at Disneyland. The last time Silver State was able to compete at the event was in 2020 right as the pandemic was hitting and it hadn't been held since. The last time they attended the Xcel Gold girls finished second and the Xcel Platinum girls finished first.
Xcel Silver
Child A
Alice Brown placed third on bars, beam, and the all-around (AA).
Paige Burau placed second on vault.
Child B
Hannah Bush placed second on vault and floor, first on bars, beam, and the AA.
Junior
Anabelle Bristow placed second on bars.
Senior
Nikki Kirschbaum placed first on vault.
Their combined efforts earned them the second place Silver Team award.
Xcel Platinum
Junior A
Alyssa Matthies placed second on bars, beam, floor, and placed first on vault and AA.
Brailynn Lealand placed first on bars, second on floor and the AA.
Junior C
Paola Lopez placed second on floor and first on vault, bars, beam, and the AA.
Rebecca DiGangi placed second on vault.
Their combined efforts earned them the first place Platinum Team award.
