Comedian Rex Meredith performs at Carson Nugget on July 22

Rex Meredith, the high energy and musically talented comedian with appearances with Richard Pryor, Robin Williams, Ray Charles, The Tonight Show, HBO, Showtime and more, takes the stage at the Carson Nugget Casino's Grand Showroom on Saturday, July 22, for shows at 6 and 8 p.m., along with local northern Nevada acts, Howie Nave and Oscar Ovies. The public is invited to a meet and greet before the show with Meredith, Nave and Ovies in Gina's Good Life Lounge, inside the Carson Nugget, at 5 p.m.

DiLullo said Meredith, a household name in the world of comedy, is known for his unique style, impeccable timing, and clever wit. With a career spanning over two decades, Meredith has captivated audiences across the nation with his hilarious observations on life's quirks and his knack for finding humor in the everyday.

"Howie is a beloved figure in the northern Nevada comedy scene and featured actor in the 2018 Casino Boss TV show series shot at the Carson Nugget," DiLullo said. "He brings his unparalleled energy and quick-fire delivery to warm up the crowd. Born and raised in the area, Nave's sharp observational comedy and engaging stage presence have made him a crowd favorite."

Ovies, another native of northern Nevada, adds his fresh perspective and relatable humor to the lineup, DiLullo said. As a rising star in the comedy scene, Ovies has been making waves with his unique storytelling and witty insights. Audiences can expect an evening of laughter as Ovies shares his humorous take on life's experiences and local anecdotes.
